The purpose of the Celebration of Learning Events at SBCS is to communicate and celebrate student achievement, and to create authentic audiences for our scholars to demonstrate their work. 

At Celebrations of Learning the entire community collaborates to: 

1. Organize these school wide events for all students to celebrate their learning.

2. Invite families, community members, and school partners to serve as authentic audiences for these celebrations. 

3. Prepare students to present their own learning and create structures for families to ask questions, interact with students and teachers, and honor our school’s mission. 

In order to do this, teachers intentionally plan Celebrations of Learning that feature high-quality student work from all our classes.
